Phoenix Auto Shop Owner Kidnapped

Police are looking for two cars -- a Honda Civic and a Chevy Malibu.

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) - Police are looking for three suspects who kidnapped an auto shop owner at gunpoint Thursday morning.

Police say 34-year-old Carlos Henandez was kidnapped after an altercation at his auto shop near 16th Street and Broadway.

Be Aware! Kings Ranch Road Pathway Project Begins Next Month

The project consists of constructing a 10-foot wide concrete pathway along Kings Ranch Road in Gold Canyon.

(GOLD CANYON, Ariz.) - Pinal County’s Department of Public Works says that construction of the Kings Ranch Road Pathway Project will begin January 12, 2009 and will continue for the next 5 months.

The majority of construction activity will occur within Pinal County’s right-of-way with local access being maintained. At this point, Pinal County officials do not anticipate the closure of Kings Ranch Road.

Oregon Bank Explosion Kills Police Officer

Officials report Highway 214 and some surrounding city streets are closed and may remain so throughout the weekend.

Bomb Squad

(WOODBURN, Ore.) - One officer was killed and the Chief of Police critically injured Friday afternoon when an explosive device detonated at a Woodburn, Oregon area bank.

The condition of the Oregon State Police bomb technician has not been updated. The names of the deceased officer and the State Police bomb technician will be released Saturday.
